Bodywerks:
Using wooden dowels as I have done before, the mounting screws need to be checked after a few flights as with vibration & such the wood will compress enough that you may need to snug them up again. Hope this helps. |

I tighten mine just enough to make the engine secure, then I secure the head of the bolt with RTV(in this case at least - I usually drill the bolt head and use safetywire). I have planes that have been flying for over a year and have yet to have the bolts come loose. But I do check the bolts one time, after two or three flights, just in case...

Well, we had 2 Yaks flying yesterday without anyone taking pictures!! UGGG. Yesterday at TRCC we had a Yellow/Blue 100cc Yak and a Blue/White 50cc Yak flying around getting people dizzy! Jeff Sidelar put flight 3,4 and 5 on his new airplane with a DA 50 on it. It was flying like it was on rails!
Steve Clark was flying his 100cc DA powered one and was scarring the crap out of me testing the wings on it!! ![]() Great flying by both pilots! I got to fly both airplanes and they are impressive, this was the first time flying the 50cc and I was really surprised how much the 50cc plane flew like the 100cc one, very solid! The small plane really had a 'big plane' feel and it tracked on rails, this little plane will be an IMAC winner for sure for those just starting out in IMAC and the lower classes. Bill |

AR9100, little spoon...
Got the tank and plumbing done - yippee. Decided to use a Fiji 32oz bottle and make my own tank. Cheap and light, plus I'm not sure a 32 ounce dubro tank would fit without cutting that cross-beam out
