Sweet. I'd be willing to wait an extra week or so if it means I'd get C/F gear.

One other thought on the C/F gear.....Would it be the same shape as the current aluminum gear or would it sweep forward slightly? It would be way cool if it looked a little more scale with a slight forward sweep. For reference, Extreme Flight probably has the best example of scale Yak gear that I've seen. Just food for thought. As scale as this plane already is, that would put it over the top in my book. My $.02.

The EF Yak54 are the best representation of a Yak54 gear I've seen, but the 55s gear don't sweep very much, I really think they are very close already, it would only have to be very slight.

Yeah, just a little forward sweep is all that it would take. Also, I agree, Mr. Hempel, these do have a very scale outline. Thats one reason I got on that list!!

I received some of my parts today. 1.4 oz tail wheel, Light axels and tires. Maybe I will have it started next week. I still have to decide on exhaust. I am using Rocket city hardware for the control horns.

Rolling Thunder,
I used the MTW cans with the batteries up front and the CG is perfect. I know Nick and Steve used the stock exhaust but I was looking to keep the plane quite for IMAC. The plane has VERY good vertical and I am sure it will be unlimited once the mote breaks in.
