Thanks for the replys. Nick, yes the engine was surging all the way down. Once I heard the engine sag I bailed out of the hove, but its hard to control the plane when its gos from idle to full and then just sags out on its own.
Im not sure what happend, I put the plane in the trailer and have not touched it since. Its to depressing to look at.

Did we ever find out if this shipment will have CF gear? Of course, if you wanted to be REALLY scale, I believe the full scale Yaks have titanium gear, if I remember correctly...........

The shipment of the container was not sent last Wednesday..... there was a misunderstanding and it is to ship today (wednesday) So.... I put a stop to it. The container is on hold for another week. Because there is no way for the container to be here by the end of the year OR in time for me to show off all the latest products at the AMA trade show in January, I have now insisted the container be held for the new Edges and Ultimates. This will save me additional thousands of dollars and time getting those airplanes here. So, please everyone be just a little bit more patient for these new planes to arrive.

The new C/F gear should not be an issue now for the 50cc planes...., see there is always a silver linning somewhere to someone.. Ill keep you guys posted.

Hey, no worries. I want this plane so bad I can taste it, but that just makes way more sense on your end. Plus, the CF gear will be nice to have. I would have done the same. Smart business decision.

My heart can't take much more of this, all excited that they were on their way, now depressed again! Do what you need to I can wait. You could probably borrow a few of the protos of the yaks to bring to the show (that is if there are any left in tact, sorry guys, couldn't resist, I thought I was the one that did the destructive testing on new airframes, you took my job!)

I imagine you were really hoping to have the big stuff at Ontario though, bummer.

Saw the video of the 100cc yak going in....
IT reminded me of Bill's purple MOnster, when the engine sagged as well...

Looked like the SAME SPOT as well.!!

better check the shrubs out there, it might be one of the ARF
competitors twanging a frequency box, that attacts the throttle channel!

Also....
I have to make my NExt move out of this Frozen TUndra, and head out to Arizona....
IF I want snow, I can always go to flagstaff!....

Sorry about your loss. What a bummer. If you slow-mo the movie, the elevators are dancing all over the place on the way down as if you had an electrical issue. Worth checking thoroughly to ensure you don't have other issues besides the motor sagging....

I saw that too. To me it almost looked like there was no control. I would investigate the electrical as well.

Right now, only the Yak55M. There are some agreememnts I made to another company long ago that I would not infringe upon. The Yak55 though was an airplane they were not intertested in doing and I cheated a little....
