When first setting up your plane with the ESC / UBEC and a 2.4 radio that has to be "bound", can you leave the motor unpluged??? Plug the motor in but don't put a prop on???? I need to bind the Rx to the radio then program the ESC but I'm not sure in what order to do things. I don't want to fry anything.
Will someone walk me through an initial setup? |

all you need to do is bind your tx to rx firstly so you have signal. just dissconnect 2 of the motor wires from esc and when you have a bind , switch off both rx power and tx power . now you can plug in the 2 other motor wires then turn the tx on with throttle at full then turn on the rx power . wait for all of the beeps etc etc then move the tx throttle stick to down . this will give the basic factory settings for the esc. yes leave the prop off until all is finished and working well, just make sure the motor / prop direction is right. if not just swap over any 2 motor wires.
