Default Twin brushless motors - How to?

OK, this isn't technically a giant scale question, but here goes....

I just ordered a Beechcraft Baron from http://www.scaleflying.com

I'll be installing twin brushless motors, someting along the size of E-flite 35's, and wasn't exactly sure how to set up the motors... If I have dual speed controllers and lipo's, how do I get them matched for speed? Do I use 2 throttle channels?

I know many others have already tackled this, and I'm sure it's probably not as complicated as I think... but I would like some help. Thanks in advance!

Default Re: Twin brushless motors - How to?

Yes... mix two channels together for throttle... that way, if there are any disparities, you can ATV or AFR or use a curve to even'em up.

Put the motor that pulls the most current on the left side.

if you have a set of batts for each motor, make a power jumper so that there isn't a "Strong Side" due to battery differences.

That is what I would do anyway....
