I recently purchased a 12FG/6014 combo and there were no instructions regarding the 6014 rec. I figured out how to bind, but not sure on how to place the antennas? Do you place one verticle and one horizontal. For example the 12o'clock and 3 o'clock position? Or both horizontal at say the 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock position? Also, while bending the antennas into posistion, should I leave gentle bends or hard 90 degree bends .
Thanks Mike |

Mount them 90 degrees from each other, smooth bends.

I add some fuel tubing to run the antennas thru as well to keep them in place

Mike, here's the link to the TM-14/6014 "manual": http://manuals.hobbico.com/fut/tm14-manual.pdf
It starts out with a couple of CYA pages so be sure to read the entire thing. I've got the 12FGA, 6014 and a couple of 617's; love the transmitter and system, and never had any sort of problem. NormS

check this vid out... at the beginning, you can see how I arranged the antenna..... though they need not be in any particular orientation with respect to the earth, mostly just perpendicular to each other..... with as much physical seperation as possible/reasonable |
