Default 40% Carden Cap232 Stabs

I am redoing the horizontal stab mount on a 40% Carden Cap232 that I acquired in ARC form and would like to know what the incidence is and if it is in relation to the hatch being set at zero.

If you know the wing incidence as well that would be good so I can check it

I appreciate anyones help on this

Bill: I've had three of these puppies in recent years, all 40%er's, all flew in IMAC unlimited. You've come to the right guy. Start out with stab incidence at 1 to 1.5 degrees of positive (at least 1 degree). Wing incidence at zero. Yes, the hatch line is the datum. Your final stab incidence will depend on your CG choice. The goal is to have the leading edge of the elevator counter balance lined up with the leading edge of the stab once your plane is trimmed out and flying "hands off".

Hope this helps,
