thanks, me and my family are ok although have a couple of modeler friends who have their houses submerged at this time. lots of lives were lost today.

I lived a few years in the Philippines in the mid 80's, Ive been thru typhoon's it is rough, good luck in getting stuff cleaned up and hope not many lost souls.

i would say past typhoons was a walk in the park compared to this one. this event dumped almost 16 inches or rain in a span of 12 hours over Manila. In comparison, Hurricane Katrina dumped about 15 inches of rain. Unfortunately, it looks like many lives were lost.

MAN! We have another storm coming our way and its going to be a category 5 typhoon with winds in excess of 240kph (150mph). this is gonna wreck havoc on our country. the eye of the storm is headed in the direction where i have a lot of assets which cannot be moved at this time. i pray for everyone safety and hopefully the storm veers of another way.
Our region is being hit by so many disasters at this time. EARTHQUAKES, SUPER TYPHOONS, TSUNAMIS. God bless our country.
