Default Wolverine switch for receiver and ignition

I bought a Fromeco Wolverine switch thinking that it was just two independent switches built into one........OK, silly me for not researching

I wanted to use one switch for the radio and the other for ignition but the wolverine takes both battery inputs and combines them to both outputs. in other words, if you turn off one switch, the other battery feeds the output to the receiver no matter the output used........now I'm thinking, why cant I still do this? I mean, both batteries are the same (Fromeco Iron Corps "A123"). I guess if one switch fails I still feed both ignition and radio. I'll have radio and ignition together on same power source but its clean and noise free.

Anybody see any serios concerns using the wolverine switch in this application?

Default Re: Wolverine switch for receiver and ignition

I have the Wolverine with three outputs with Deans plugs. Two feed the expander to the rx, one goes thru a Fromeco reg to the ignition box. Power coming from two a123's. Never thought about the Wolverine with only two ouput leads. Check the Fromeco site. Go to the knowledge base section.
