Default Depron West Foamies

I have been looking at trying to buy a large 3D foamy, depron west foamies in the US have some 55" kits which from what I read are pretty good, but shipping is a killer, about half the price of the kit on top. Does anyone know of any kits that are available locally in this sort of size range?
Apprieciate your help.

David.

David, I don't know how well this will answer your question, but I had the same thoughts as you, first time I ordered from DW, but I found it to be well worth it. I've enjoyed every DW that I've owned. If you are concerned with the shipping, I suggest that you call Mike and see if there is a less expensive way to ship or what a package deal will run ya.....

WELCOME TO THE GIANTS!!
Have you looked into the airfoilz line of foamies? They have full fuse options and all have a full airfoiled wing. Shipping shouldnt be an arm and a leg either. check out www.airfoilz.com and www.3dxhobbies.com . we have several pilots at our field now with them and nothing bad to say about them.

Hey David,

Just Call Mike at (619)206-2596 or e-mail him at sales@DWFoamies.com and ask him if there's an easier way to ship.

Matt

David, thought of downloading a set of plans for this sized foamy ? Depron is cheap , foam safe CA is cheap , carbon rod and flat is cheap. you can make your own for $50 au.

Thanks for the suggestions guy's, fastace, at the moment I'm just stuck for time so would prefer to purchase something precut, even finding enought time to do a couple of nights building is hard enough.

David.

David,
Mike will have a booth the Tuscon Shootout this week. Just have one of the Team Australia guys pick up a couple of kits for you, and put it in their luggage when they fly home.
