Default DA150 vs DA170

Looking for a engine for my 42% SD 260 and I'm crossed between a DA150 and the DA170. I'm looking for a good used 150 but not sure if the power will be enough? I like to do all types of flying, love 3D..... So my question to you all... Does the DA170 compared to the 150 have that much more power? I'm running a DA150 on my 40% Carden Edge and it flies great....
I'm open to all opinions.....
Thanks
Shawn

I saw a 170 fly a SD 260 and it jerked it around the sky....I would think that the 150 would be alright on mufflers and min servos. You're pretty close to sea level so you don't have to worry about elevation.

150 is more than enough for that plane. My buddy's plane with carbon gear and wing tube wieghed 38lbs with the DA 150 on stock mufflers.

I have a 42% SD 260. I have flown it with both a DA-150 and DA-170 on mufflers and pipes. A DA-150 on muffs with a 30x12 Mejzlik will pull it through the IMAC intermediate sequence just fine.

Just the answer I was looking for, someone who has flown both engines on the plane... I'm in the market for a DA150......

I know my DA 150 on Greeves pulls my 42 lb 120" QQ Yak around just fine. I don't 3D but I do fly IMAC and it has plenty of power through the Advanced sequence that my friend flys.
