I want to paint the cowl on my Yak with 3 rows of black and white. I notice that the checkers, on the good looking cowls, has a taper. I mounted the engine to reference a center and planed on bringing the tape to the center of the hub for every line. I think it is the proper way to get the look of having them tapered. Lets see your checkered Yak cowls!
