Default throttle servo speed?

hi there guys, well i have the hitec 7985 on my 50CC for the throttle, i saw that low stick to middle is a little bit slower than middle to full stick. I have a 10CG radio but i dont have expo or anything onthat channel. Dont remember this kid of things before...maybe is normal. What do you think?

The servo itself is slower or the throttle response is slower?

What does your mechanical setup look like? You want to make sure that is straight as possible before doing any sort of throttle curve or radio mixing.

good point...i will check also my end points......one question. Its better to put the servo arma and 90 deg. and the stick at middle? to have almost the same travel?. I think i have my end points very different in both ends.

You want the end point to be as close to the same number as you can get ex: +120/ -120. Soem people set them up with diff end point and then adjust the mechanical to make it full open ND CLOSE, TO HAVE A MECHANICAL throttle curve. I Prefer to set up best mechanical setup and then use a throttle curve in the radio if necessary.

Adjust the push rod length and centering to get the end points as close as you can get them if one is off 10 points one way or the other it will be fine as long as both number are above 100.

well re check all and rigth now i have 55 up and 60 down. the speed is the same in both ways, before i was getting 95 and 35 thats why it was really different. Also put the middle stick of the throttle and i have 90 deg on the servo arm and engine arm which makes me feel better. BTW i have a DLE55 and the travel of the carburator arm i not huge.

Use a shorter servo arm or shorter hole on the servo arm to get those Travel adjustments above 100

It will give more steps between low throttle and high thottle; aka better throttle resolution and is an overall better setup IMO.

I always match the servo horns length to the same length of the throttle arm. Make sure the horn is at center point of the servo (90 degrees) when your throttle stick is centered on the tx. At center stick, your carb butterfly will be in the middle, depending if you've set your throttle rod, or cable right. Match your endpoints accordingly.

with your end points so low, the resolution of the servo will be low....

H'mmmm, my lowly 9C has a throttle curve function. You would think the 10CG would as well
