(Hey guys each year a contingency of KIWIs take the HUGE jump across the pond and head to Tucson to compete in the TAS. These are a great group of guys who always have a great time, and bring a ton of positive energy to the contest. Each year we all look forward to seeing all of our NZ friends. Here is their saga, as documented by them!)

Well, what can we say, the Kiwis are in full flight at the "Heigl Hilton."

The Coronas have flown, the red wine has been drunk and the Bourbon is now out in full force.

Disclaimer, I now accept no responsibility for what is about to follow.... all I can say is bring it ON!

we been too busy to post !

plenty of action over the past couple of weeks.

here are some getting ready, decals going on the models, getting model boxes built, packing models for the big trip ...

more pics, arrived in LA, the model boxes didn't go to Memphis this time, and we picked up the "small" RV, which we have since nicknamed "Monty", a wee 9 hour drive to Phoenix

after the big drive to Phoenix, we arrived at 2am in the morning, and after a few "quiets" ended the day at 4am ... only to be woken up at the crack of dawn by the Arizon Sun ... 40 degrees C (105F) like a fricken lazer burning a hole in the side of the Monty RV ... too hot for sleeping, it was hot enough to boil a monkeys bum ! so we got up at 8am, got unpacked, spent all day gettin sorted, before long we got the motors on and run em up !

after the motors seemed to be sorted, it was a little to late for flying, so time for a few more "quiets" ... after 2 "quiets" baldrick had a wee nanna nap.

we all loaded up and ready to get out to the moon and get flying !

so went for a fly on the moon today, more pics attached. Ted was fizzing at the bung to get out there and start burning some gas. When we arrived it was a case of "one small step for Ted ... one giant leap for mankind !"

bit windy up here, but we flew till it went dark. Managed to get the loading ramps sorted on Monty, the models just roll right up the ramp and in the back .... wings on and all !

living at the Hilton sucks, last night it was ribs, and tonight steaks ... baldrick reckons they look like mini roasts
