Default WilldHare35% extra or compARF 2,6 or airwild extra

I am looking for a 35% Extra for my next project , to go with a 3w 106. And i would like to hear wich of those 3 planes would be the best combo. I like the full composites but the wildhare is a lot cheaper , so should it be wood versus composits, give me a hint.

It's a lot easier to repair wood. I would go with the Chip Hyde 34% extra. Aeroworks had/has a sale for 599. Great planes and easy build. Spatown

I would go with either the wildhare or have you considered the aviation Models 35% yak (best flying 35% arf out there IMO) www.aerobaticmodels.com

Iwould definately go with the Comp ARf. I havnt had the 2.6 but have had two 2.3's and now have a 44% Comp Arf Giles. A few guys I fly IMAC with Have the 2.6 and love them. Composites are really not that hard to fix, after all, all they are is a couple of layers of 2oz cloth and a foam sandwich.

LoL hmm i like the composites i got one Katana myself , i guess the airwild extra is allmost identical to compARf,s same type of construction as i can see, but still double price of an wildhare Extra. and if the wildhare is flying light as the composites its still a difficult choise.

All fantastic planes. Personal preference is for the C-Arf, but as I have a 2.6 extra and 2.6 Yak, I guess you could say that I am biased. What type of flying are you wanting to do? More 3D or more IMAC? That may help you make up your mind.

I want a 3d plane this time as my katan is biased more in IMAC its on the heavy side, so i want a light 3d 35% size Extra

Hey, I've been building the Airwild Extra with a buddy of mine over the past week or so, and the build is easy, finish is beautiful, and we'll know on Tuesday how the flight characteristics are...
