Default Trim setting is fading - Help

I have a question, may be nothing but I need to know.
Earlier in the season I was flying my Yak and lost bind and the Yak died a premature death. Now I remember that my trim settings were out of whack right before I lost bind, in other words the plane was rolling slightly to left and the rudder was out of trim to the left also, so I retrimed it thinking why have I lost the trim settings.

Now to present time.....I was flying my new Dalton yesterday (maiden flight) and I trimmed the plane, its flying real good. The last flight I noticed that the trim was out of whack, plane was rolling to the left so I had to retrim it just as before with the Yak. I didnt think any thing about it yesterday but I just realized this is the same thing that happened when I lost my Yak.

So what gives.......anybody....

More detail. What radio, receiver, etc., are you using?

Ok.....here is the setup
12x Radio
JR 1222 receiver
JR 8711 HV - 2 per wing / 1 each elevator / 2 rudder push-pull
2 5200 relions

this is new equipment.......the only thing thats the same from the Yak is the radio.......Radio has never been sent in for service. the radio is what I am leaning to.......maybe I need to send it in for updates or something.

On the Yak you said you lost bind, but I take that to mean that you lost the RF link to the plane during flight, right?

You also said you were having trim issues and retrimmed it, I assume this means you gave it a few clicks here or there and it starting flying straight again. How long after that did you lose the link?

I would be checking the crap out of the system on the ground before the next flight!

Do you have a data logger?

Data logger is on the list..........It was the same flight when I had to retrim it before it went in.......I would say just a few minutes

Before blaming the TX, recheck all of your control linkages, bolts, etc. Usually when a plane goes out of trim in flight, something is loose or has moved.

I would double check linkages and everything, also, use the data logger. Maybe you are getting interference from reciever placement. If no success, I would call horizon. Maybe they have a suggestion.

if the fuse flexes or twists it could shift a wing/stab

Anything is suspect at this point. I would start with servo horns, linkages, hinges, wing/stab bolts, engine mounting bolts, make sure the vertical stab is secure - heck, even a landing gear twisting could cause a slight change in trim. Inspect the fuse to see that all of the glue joints are holding - stringers, cross braces, everything.

Just checking some ppl would do it....well what are the odds on the same links giving probs on the same sides & surfaces on two diff models? Wouldnt hurt to send the Tx in for a checkup.
