Default Xtreem/Skymaster Rafale

I was looking for some input about this jet. Looking to get one as a first. Some info regarding the landing gear and flight characteristics would be helpful. Flying from a grass field, I was thinking that the upgraded gear would be needed.

I heard a good jet is a DA for your YAK.

from what i've read, its a good flyer (as are most all delta wings) the upgraded gear aren't a necessity, and most seem to have problems with the inflatable tire design b/c the rims leak if they aren't assembled correctly.

I like the FB version better, much more scale detail and nicer paint, flies great with 18-20 lb thrust turbine also. I have a Merlin M90K currently in my one... Let me know if your interested its for sale.

Cheers- Marty

Just my opinion, but I believe the FB version to offer higher overall finish quality and variety of offered paint finish options including weathering if requested, full depth scale cockpit, more scale surface detail and extras such as full ordinance pack including drop tanks and all the rockets...

Xtreme Jets Rafale all the way, full rivets, panel lines and details. Fying performance is perfect, very easy to fly and very aerobatic. Very good quality kit, builds fast and it is rock solid. It will handle a lot, beleive me I have tried...
I had mine with a Jet Central Super Eagle, 30lbs of thrust is overpowered but it makes the Rafale a very fun jet to fly.

I know there aren't much paint choices in the web page but the factory will paint the jet to what ever scheme you want...

Here is a video, there are more in my same account in YouTube...

Thanks for the info Michel, I ended up buying a skymaster mig-29 from Jeff. Looking forward to flying it this spring, seems like it will fly well and should have fun with the thrust vectoring. Wish me luck...

It is at the paint shop at the moment, I added some scale details and had a couple of coats of clear shot on it for durability and shine (looks sweeeet). Will be bringing her home today. I will get some pics of the MiG at the shop (the painter wants some too for his portfolio) and post them later.
