Alternate Rx for 7c Futaba 2.4ghz

I have a 7C Futaba 2.4ghz radio which uses the FUTR617FS
7 channel receiver.
I would like to use the FUTR6008HS 8 channel (High Speed) Rx for
a second aircraft.

-Will this Rx bind with the 7C transmitter?

-If so, would I get the benefit of the 6008HS Rx ie; 1024 resolution
high speed, using a 7C transmitter? Are there any other considerations?

-If the above is not possible, what other Rx could I use.
-Must I remain with the 617FS or lower channel Rx?

You cannot use any FASST receiver over 7 channels with the 7C.
Your radio is 1024 with the R617FS receiver. The 8 channel and up receivers are 2048 resolution and require a radio that supports the multi mode format .
The new 6 channel parkflier and mid range receivers do have the optional HS mode, which is for use with digital servos only..
I think it is only a matter of time until the R617FS gets an update with the HS mode. The only new FASST receiver without it is the R6004FF, great receiver for foamies BTW
