Hi all.
I am completing a 30% Yak with a DA 50 for motivation. I want to keep this one light and simple, and I have 2 unused NO-BS 4 cell NiCads lying around. Will a FASST system (6014) be ok with 4.8V? Or will I have voltage drop/reboot issues. All servos except throttle are Hitec 5955TG. Flying style is IMAC. Thanks Anders |

Why even risk this scenario?
A123 batteries are only $40ish from NoBS, you can run one on this plane and keep the 4.8v for the ignition. Or you can use the balance tap of the A123 pack to power the ignition & two 16ga wires to power the 6014 receiver (3-leads off battery, 2 would just be positive/neg).

use the 4.8v batt for ignition only. don't risk your plane on the 4.8 packs. a123's are a great choice.

these are what i use, genuine a123's. they work great. have 2 in my 50cc aw yak for reciever. fromeco told me those packs you mentioned are good but have a shorter life than genuine a123 packs. |

When you get to flying 120 size and bigger... 4.8 shouldn't be used, except for Ign. (IMO)

Try the 4.8V on the ignition and put some 2600/5200, the point is check the V. in everyflight. Thats wy i have a 8 ball fromeco volt tester. |
