Hi Dan,

Can you tell me a little more about the club. Is it open 365 days a year, hours, electric as well as fuel planes, flight instruction, and size limitations?

I currently have numerous 60 size electric planes.. ASM p61-d, TF p47-D, Cessna 421, etc.. and am building my first fuel plane - Ziroli Stuka and would certainly welcome advice from experience builders and pilots..... I'm pretty much a novice pilot and fly whenever the weather is good at marymoor, but it's a pretty tight field and sometimes crowded... and would love to find someplace closer to home.. I'm in the Monroe area.....

Thanks in advance for any information or advice.

Chuck,

From Monroe come down 522 to the old Snohomish Monroe Hwy. Head west about four miles. You'll see a sign for Craven Farms on the left. Just past the sign is the entrance to the field on the right, at the steel building. Follow the dirt road to the end. The field is a full scale private airport, there are some full scale planes there, but few flights.

There are no noise or size restrictions. I am not aware of any AMA instructors at the field, but there is plenty of help. Last September there was a warbird fly in, and there are two or three IMAC events a year there as well.

Let me know if I can be of any further help, and I'll PM you my Cell phone number. Come out and have a look.

Talk about a slow response... Thanks Dan... still working on the Stuka... actually... I'm starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel... it's still a ways off though.... Fuselage is ready to cover, will finish the wing tonight... basically everything else is built and it's almost time to assemble. so it looks like in about another 1-2 months it will be ready to fly... I'll have to grab some of my smaller plans and come out and visit.

Thanks,

Chuck

No worries Chuck. Build it good and straight! I'll look at the Warbird schedule and give you a heads up on that.
