Default Recomened Battery

I just bought an Areoworks 50 CC Extra 300. I installed 5 Hitec 5985 Digital metal geared servos, aileron, elevator, rudder and 2 standard digital servo,s throttle and choke. I am running a DA50 with the new Airtronics sd10-g 2.4 Transmitter and 10 ch RX. What would be a good battery setup for this plane? I have never used digital servos so have no idea of current draw. I usuall do about 3 -10 minute flights when I go to the field.

4.8v nimh on ignition and 2 1100a123's will work out perfect and be very light. or if you want lipos 2 similar sized lipos and reg. but the 123 route is easiest and very simple and safe.

I have a similar setup, DL 50cc, 5 Hitek 7955's and an Analog Futaba servo on throttle. I'm using a 2300ma A123 on the reciever and a 1100ma A123 on the ignition. I usually fly the same, (3) 10 minute flights. I've never put back over 500ma in the Rx pack and never more than 100ma in the Ignition pack....Charge time is less than 10 minutes....

My next plane will have a battery eliminator with a built in regulator and noise filter so I can get rid of the ignition battery....The plane I have now needed the weight on the nose, so the extra weight of the battery was a non issue.

just thowing a vote out for A123's. as soon as I'm able I'm going to switch over to A123's in my 50cc Carden Yak. currently Im flying 3 7955's (1 each Ail and 1 rud) and 2 7985's (1 each ele) from 2x 1700 NiMh. I can get 3 flights, but I am not comfortable with that battery set up anymore. i have had tremendous success with A123's in both my 40% and 35% planes over the past season. I like, and have been using, the Duralite 2300.
