Default indoor season is almost here!!!

Maybe its just me, but i dont mind that the weather is turning cold....
because that means INDOOR SEASON! I have just as much fun at indoor events as i do at
outdoor events for two reasons: first, flying foamies keeps my thumbs sharp! I can keep practicing
maneuvers that im working on, and i can learn new stuff that im a little nervous about trying
with my giants.
second, i get to see all my long-distance friends again!!!
So lets hear it... What indoor planes are you guys flying this winter? theres alot of new stuff
coming out, i'm curious what gear everyone will be rockin!
and also since we are on the subject, what events are on your schedule?

i'll be rockin out with mostly fancy foam stuff. My milled Osiris from last season is still together
so i'll fly that one as long as it holds up. I'll be milling another Osiris for a backup, i will be building
2 FF yak 55s, one i will mill, one i will not mill. And im very excited to get my hands on the new
FF MX2 that is supposed to be out soon. This is the plane that Seth Arnold flew to victory at the ETOC
this past year, and RJ Gritter flew it as well, and actually designed the plane. it flies AWESOME!
Hoffman Magnetics will provide power for all of my foamies this year, and i'll be using JR electronics,
Castle ESC's, and thunder power lipos.
i'll also be flying helicopters this year wich is new for me. pretty exciting:-)

My event list so far will only be the Great Planes E-fest on January 30th and 31st. the BEST indoor event! the Armory is HUGE!
I will also be rolling out to Toledo Ohio for the Toledo show/ETOC. had a blast last year!
so lets here it!!!

imm pretty much in the exact same boat as you except for the heli stuff and milled planes imm no pro so its good enough for me. i cant wait till he gets mx2 done hopefully he wont tree dee it (just kiddin rj) heres my osiris i painted up. i fly at a soccer dome once a month and theres a couple of indoor basketball quarts about every other week.

on a side note imm not really feelin foamies this year. last year i was really into it and couldent wait to fly a foamie everyday in the backyard, at the mx track, at work, just about everywhere. this year i dont even care, i dont get it. i think its cus i got really good at flyin giant scale this summer and i just wana keep goin. i dont really fly them when its cold out, hate being cold.

How does the seminoll compare to the osiris?

i asked the same question to a few ETOC pilots, and the response i got was, not much.
It seems that the Osiris flies better, seeing as how the dude that designed the seminoll didnt even
fly his own design in competition last year... he flew the osiris
on my osiris i built the anheidral horizontal stabs into the plane like the seminoll has.
it does seem to help in knife edge flight.
heres a picture of mine:

Not to many indoor events in the south, but I will continue to fly my DW 28" Yak and will probably pick up one of RJ's MX2's from Fancy Foam

Just got my fancy foam MX2! I'll probably Build it on Sunday, cause our open gym night starts on Wednesday! I also got my copterX 450 V2 heli ready to go. That's a badass heli! Especially when you can get one in the air for around $150!
