Saturday: 2009 Tucson Aerobatic Shootout
The first cuts have been made, and we are entering the heart of the contest here at the 2009 Tucson Aerobatic Shootout! The pilots are really starting to feel the pressure, and any simple mistake can cost a pilot the show.
The trick is to remain calm, cool and collected. Not a problem with thousands of dollars of prizes at stake and hundreds of people watching. Can Mark Leseberg pull the "Hat trick + 2", or will Jason Noll dig deep and pull it off? Could Chris Brislin show all of the pilots how the Aussies do it, or could it be that Gernot or Andrew will bring the hurt? We will watch it all unfold and report back here! We are heading out early to catch as much as we can today. Don't forget for all of you Huckers, the first round of FREESTYLE is today! WHOOOO HOOOOO! We will get as much of the Freestyle as we can on video for you guys. So sit back grab a bag of corn, and get ready for Saturday at the 2009 Tucson Aerobatic Shootout. Todays schedule: Pilot Meeting: 7:30 a.m. Unlimited, Advanced, Intermediate and Sportsman Final Flights Unknown C, Known Followed immediately by Invitational Class Unknown Flights Unknown D Followed immediately by Four-Minute Freestyle Flights Followed immediately by Invitational Class Known Flights Known B

Cool or should I say cold....... the first snow has started to fall here in Eastern Iowa..so Iam looking forward to some hot flying today to keep me warm untill I can get back home to Texas......Good luck to all the pilots......

I got one question. where the hell is slammis????? I thought he was going to the shot out, then going to the vegas to get hitched. did his soon to be tie him up back at the hotel or what?
