I wonder if that is one of the "good blocks" merlins. If so, i'll bet an unlimited class air racer is wishing he had it. The merlins with the good blocks are almost all used up.

It's not a -7 transport block. It is a very early -1 motor that was used in a boat, and has a few holes in it welded up. It isn't anything that could be made airworthy.

Well then i like it even more in the car. Plus im sure i it was one of the good ones, somone would have made him an offer on it that he couldnt refuse.
