Default weight of 2.3 metre extra 300 ?

Guys, i need to know what should the total weight or even the empty airframe weight of the 2.3 meter extra 300 ? at the moment the empty air frame weight comes in at 3.7 kg,s this includes the alloy wing tube plus the carbon undercarrage, the fuse is primed ready for the finish color plus the wings are to be covered in profilm iron - on this shouldn,t add to much more weight as long as i go easy with the gun. my reason for this question is ; not sure on what size engine to fit eg; 50cc or up to 80cc. or if its abit on the too heavy side i might scrap it. thanks.

My Extra (C -ARF 2.3 meter)comes 20,5 pound(9.300 gr) with 750 cc gas. ZDZ 80 RV-J is really tons of power for the plane, I am getting lower by hovering on the deck. I am having 6.000 - 6.100 rpm with 26X10 Mezjlik CF prop at the moment and am using 35/1 mineral oil break in gasoline so I am sure I will get 200 - 300 rpm more when switch to all syntetich oil 40/1 after the break in .
50cc will be soo weak for this size of plane , might fly but...

thanks mischa. i would say my 2.3 will come in around the weight of your model or maybe lighter i hope, at present the model weighs 8.5 pounds this includes a rather heavy alloy wing tube that i might toss and buy a carbon tube plus a set of 4 inch Dubro wheels that are also a bit on the heavy side . by the time i add paint and covering material the model will be around 9 plus pounds then a DA 85 with Cannister should bring it up to 14 to 15 pounds. all thats left is radio fitout which shouldn,t way anymore than a total of 3 pounds i wouldn,t think. i will be happy with a total of 20 pounds or less.
