I don't buy the story, I think it was a publicity stunt.

They asked the kid on Larry King Live if he heard his parents calling for him. He said he did and then they asked why didnt you come out. He said because mommy and Daddy said we were doing this for the show.

The whole thing is a rib and unfortunately, I just heard the bill will not be passed onto the family for the search and chase.

Sounds like another bunch of folks just wanting their 20 seconds of fame.... (as if Wife swap wasn't enough) I mean they could have come up with a cool story like, I dunno, Elian Gonzolez. Maybe they could have been protesting the "evil" George W Bush, or protesting the lack of government health care, as they obviously need to see a shrink.... if this truely was a media hoax....

There is no telling how many nutjob parents are now buying helium to make the news tomorrow night. No one is accountable for their actions, makes me sick.

Yeah, this story was real damn funny. I had a satellite TV installer putting in HD receivers at my home today. I came down out of my blown in fiberglass filled attic (good thing I wore a respirator), where _I_ was running new RG6 for my bedroom, to find the "installer" sitting in MY LIVING ROOM watching the coverage in 50" of glorious 1080i Kuro Elite plasma, giving his wife the play by play on his cell phone. Good thing I ran that cable, because he might have missed the story if he did it.

As for the UFO balloon, I took one look and could tell that there was no way in hell a half inflated balloon that size could lift a kid, especially without showing signs of deformation from a load. What are these people thinking???? They even had a TFR issued for flights coming in and out of DIA in that direction. I hope they make the Dad pay.

That is definitely not going to happen.
They said they didnt want to scare parents away from calling in missing kids in fear of having to pay for the search.
I agree with that but this was obviously a planned stunt by these idiot parents that will go un punished.

Dude, take it from an electrician you were better off running the coax yourself than letting one of their "installers" do it. I have seen allot of their work and typically it is pretty bad.

These parents are phucked up!
Story continues today as they are making the rounds on all the morning talk shows.
The kid threw up, puked on live TV on the Good Morning America and the Today show.
I can see puking on one but then to parade the kid to the next show so he can puke again on live TV when he is obviously is sick is disgusting.

I saw that. Did you notice that they had a piece of tupperware that caught the kids puke handy? They obviously knew he was not feeling right. Man, think about it. Anybody who would come out on a show called Wife Swap, let me guess, another reality show, has to be a loser that needs attention, watched too much MTV as a teenager. The friggin' goofy dad and his Moe Howard hairdoo, could not even look at the camera. That piece of crap just caused the taxpayers a sh!tload of money for his wanting of attention. I hope they turn around and charge those losers!

Man that was hilarious. .
I can see it now,"Falcon, mommy knows your sick but we need to do this interview "...lol

Since John & Kate has been canceled I think the parents pulled this stunt in hopes for a reality show in their slot..

How much you wanna bet they get a movie offer from Lifetime or some cheesy book deal..
