Let's see, the city of Fort Collins with help from the state of Colo. has to float a public bond issue to the public for higher taxes to help pay for this stunt. I think that would probably do in the family. Can you say angry mob with pitch forks!!

This guy is a flake, I saw him at a local grocery store when they were filming "Wife Swap". He was running around ranting & raving and throwing stuff all over.

DSTJOHN, I was just being a wisea$$. I grew up in the Longmont,Boulder area and lived in Colo. from 1966 to 1998. I miss it. I usually come back every 5 yrs or so just to say hello to family and friends. Had a good business in Longmont for some years. I know there is a lot of "different" lifestyles but some just need to be run out of the state by any means necessary. I left for greener pastures and now I am almost ready to come home. Although when I do come to visit it reminds me of when I went to So. Cal. for better career. Just replace the mountains with the ocean. Still beats most other areas of the country though. Fruitcakes and all!

Then the 6 year-old Colorado child was quickly nicknamed "Balloon Boy" on Thursday, when a giant Mylar balloon thought to be lofting him to the heavens riveted TV viewers, until the whole story popped.
