Default Jet Cat Battery ??

I was reading my P 60 manual while bolting a few things together...Is there a specific reason Jet cat does not like to use Lithium ION batteries on the engine... Reads Nimh Nicad or Li POly ??

I think they may not be able to push enough amps during starting... even more so on turbines that don't use starting gas.

I had a new 7.2 volt, Fromeco 5200 mah Li/ion pack supplying power to my P80SE and it worked fine for the first flight. It did not have enough muscle to light off on the second flight.

Switched out to the smaller 2500 mah Li/Po provided by Jetcat and I now fly 4-5 flights without having to charge.

As stated, li-ions do not deliver enough amps to the ECU. Lipos or A123 packs are the popular choice.
