Default 9303 Programming-Flap / Flaperon mixing

I am using a 2.4--9303 on my 35% Edge. I have it setup with FM and I am using the 3 position
flap switch on the left side to operate them. My wing type is set to flaperon. I would like
to set up a 2-position swicth (Elev dr?) for a flap mix to allow a fixed amount of flaps
perhaps 10 deg down upon activation of the switch. Any ideas on what the programming
would be?

Thanks, Don

To use the elevator d/r switch to control the flaperons, you will have play around with the DeviceSEL menu. I assume you still want the flap switch to control your flight modes and you are using flight modes to control your dual rates. In DeviceSEL, set FLIGHT MODE to be controlled by the FLAP SWITCH. Set D/R to be controlled by FM. Highlight GEAR and set it to be controlled by ELEV D/R. Inhibit the output of the GEAR channel. If you don’t want the FLAP SW to control the flaperons, set the output of the FLAP channel to INH, otherwise leave it on SYS.

In the Wing TYPE menu, set Wing to FLAPERON.

Use a program mix to mix GEAR > FLAP. Depending how you want the elevator dual rate switch to move when deploying the flaps, set one value of Pos0 to 0% and the other to your flap deflection amount. Leave all the select switches on the bottom in Pos0 if you want this mix to be available full time.
