Gents (and ladies).
I am trying to compile a sample pack of various monokote and ultracote color samples. I have contacted both Top Flite and Horizon Hobby about covering samples and all they have available are small printed color samples and not the real thing. We all know that printed colors are no where near the real thing. My plans are to come up with paint codes for paints to match the covering colors as well as samples to use for covering schemes. So here is what I am looking for... a small 3" X 3" scrap piece of covering, in Monokote and/or Ultracote, on the front of the sample a small label that suggests what color it is. I am looking for samples of any and all colors, in Monokote and/or Ultracote. If you would be willing to part with some scraps and send them to me by US Postal Service, I would greatly appreciate it. If you would be willing to help out a fellow modeller, please contact me by PM and I will forward you my address. Thanks

Be careful, covering is not completely opaque and there is a lot of variation betwen covering over open bays and varying colors of balsa. I was advised when getting paint for my planes to bring in a sample of covering on balsa scrap from the plan built for best results.

Hey Ian, who is going to do the painting on your sukhoi? I gave my tuned pipes to Jack so you can pick them up to get fixed whenever.
