Default Hello from Alberta

Hello to everyone at The Giants. I am a retired educator from Alberta who has been building and flying gas and glow for many years. Have a "decent " collections of quarter scale and bigger and am about to start on the Spirit of St. Louis. I would very much appreciate hearing from anyone who has built and flown this classic bird. Its great to be a part of the Giants....truly a very nice site..

Hello!

I have a friend that has a Spirit of St. Louis that competed in Top Gun.

Say hello to Lake Louise/banff/jasper and environs. My true home (2 years at least).

Wish I were retired and there

Thanks, fellows for the kind welcome. I am about four hours north of Red Deer. We have already had our first snow of the season. Its a LONG time until next May when the grass turns green. The Spirit is going to take up most, if not all, of the long -30 Alberta winter...Thanks again..

Let's see here, 4 hours north of Red Deer, that should put in around the Grand Prairie area south of Peace River. I used to frac oil wells back in the early 70's out of High Level Ab in the winter.
