Hi.
Is the AeroWorks extra 300 LP a good 3d plane? I know they make awesome planes, but have not heard or seen much of it. I like to know what you think. (Just this plane, not everything else)

I've never flown the AW or this PAU one, but the 300SP is a single seat version of the 300LP, according to the Extra Aircraft website. Here is the link to the PAU Extra 300 SP http://www.flypau.com/html/extra300sp/extra300sp.html. I would think that the PAU plane would be better if 3D is your style as it has 100 square inches more wing area. I'm sure the AW plane flies great, and it does look really nice, but I thought I'd point out the other options out there.

Uhhhh NO. Many other better choices out there. Don't do what I did. I bought it because I liked the colors.
It flys ok... only ok. very difficult IMAC bird and 3d is a little tough as it is a bit on the heavy side. Now for the really bad news... It has a bad habit on landing of wanting to stall about 4 or 5 feet before touchdown. You have to bring it in really fast and at a steep glide path. I finally gave up on this plane. My son figured it out and flew the shiznit out of it til the AR 7000 pooped in mid flight. |

I'd rather put my money in this one if u want a 50cc Extra from AW, or a 100cc.
I know I did .

I agree. If you want a 50cc Extra 300 from AW, go with the midwing. It will be much better for 3D and IMAC. The LP is more of a scale plane, where the midwing was designed more for flight performance.
