As I understand it Spektrum is no longer an issue.

If you prefer paying RF for every upgrade and update thats fine, I prefer the FREE updates and upgrades with Phoenix....I also prefer Phoenix as a sim.

guys i gotta tell you i took a copy home from our hobby shop and loaded it last night. it is way way better than g4.5.i have rf fs1 and this one loaded and it is sooo easy to get a plane to fly real. the set up is easy for everyone and there are so many settings that are in english and not geek. the multiplayer on line connects and is fast. its not a video game like 4.5 so it will run on laptops and slower machines well. graphics are great and flys real.i was reading the updates you can use any radio except multiplex. you can buy it with or without a radio included so you save about 45 clams if you use your own radio.this ones a winner.

We have the Phoenix at our Hobby Shop and it is WAY better than RF G4.5. Planes fly more realistic as well as the grtaphics are better. Free downloads and upgrades are always nice too! RF G4.5 better watch out cause the Phoenix is knocking at its door.

I have this.. There is a guy Puzom he is making schemes.. He and the Sim are KEWL!! Way faster than my FSone. I sold it.. The sim is like many.. you have to tweak the planes to your liking.. Drop the electric motor in and it's KEWL!!.. The Gas motors just don't sound right..

Get the sim.. You will like it.. AND yes. it comes with a DX5e.. I use it with my 9303 So I can get the real feel and use mixes and all..

It allows you to customize engine sounds...we just need someone who knows what they are doing to record some da 170s and 200s.
