Well tonight I got a little more done. First I finished off the pipes by welding the headers to them. Next I mounted the throttle servo using the SECRAFT Side Servo Mount. This mount looks great and made the job a snap to do.

Nice build!! Very anxious to hear how the 1090's work on a 3W 170.

I've been running 1090's on my 170CS in a comp arf Pitts with great success. Needs around 13" headers to get mid range right. The Pitts is a big draggy plane and this combo throws it around like something far lighter!
Richard - sounds like my Sukhoi should finally be here on Monday ![]() Think I might have to try a set of those pipe mounts when I set it up with the 170 and 1090's. Does anyone know if secraft do a 2" JR servo arm? |

Andrew,
Secraft does the the 2" arms but it is the V2 version not the V3. I will post pics of the 2 incher later tonight. Also available are the 1.75 arms too. If you need them, just let me know. |

Hi guys. Tonight I got the choke servo mounted and installed the aluminum braces for the firewall. At this point in the build I would like to talk a little bit about the TOC Performance Extra 260. When the boxes arrived, everything inside was in pristine order and secured in place so as not to be damaged during shipping. The covering was nice and tight and did not need any touch up. All of the parts that are needed to complete this kit are included and this makes for a fast build. Just a very nice kit.

That side servo side mount is an awesome idea!
Any idea what it weighs?
