I don't know where my CG measures out to, but if I pick it up by the wingtube socket (wings off, obviously) the nose drops slightly. I'd move it forward a bit if I were looking for a more IMAC/precision CG, but it's perfect for 3D/Freestyle. Inverted is almost hands-off. It would probably need a little less KE mixing as well.
See video: http://www.flyinggiants.com/forums/f...reestylin.html Also, what is everyone running for aileron differential? I'm having a hard time getting mine to roll like it's on a string. |

CG start at the center of the wing tube and adjust from there to you liking

I am planning to start on the wing tube and then see where I like it after a few flights.

Well I just finished gluing the canopy to the hatch. I than set the hatch on the plane to make sure that every thing fits ok. I used RC56 to glue the canopy to the hatch.

Nice job on the build and baffling. One thing i would try to change is on the pictures of your pipe setup, I would not run the wires to the back of the fuse right next to the pipes. I dont have any experience with pipes and not sure if they get hot but I wouldnt want any of my wires running near exhaust. Could cause some problems and if those are the stab and rudder wires there wouldnt be any chance of recovery if it just so happened that the stab wires burned. Other than that everything looks perfect.

Hi Guys
Thanks for all the great feedback. It makes a big difference to get lots of different points of view. It is very helpful. Chris That is a good point about the wires running near the pipes. I will look at it when I get home tonight. It is actually further away than it looks. Maybe I will wrap them in something. BTW if any of you are in the Syracuse New York area this Saturday 11/21 I will have the plane at Walt’s Hobby store on display. He is having a big Sale that day. It would be great to see some of you http://www.walts-hobby.com/ Thanks Dan’s Dad Richard |
