For a minute!

There is no reason to try 3S on the 9L. It's wound for 2S and provides very good power on 2S.

Default pics!

made progress tonight. airframe is done except the rudder. this is a cool looking plane. I decided to hang off the wheel pants and try rounded skids,, I may put the lite wheel i have on , havent decided yet. the other foamies flyign at my field when flown outside the pants break so ill save me that step haha. tomarrow night i should get the radio in yeah!! seth or rj have you found that ailiron flexing was an issue on the mx2? I have extra tiny carbon if i need to stick bridge.. just wondering.

mike

ps, i made a reverse skid in the tail to hang it by, just incase someone asked.

Looks good Mike!

Generally aileron flexing is not a problem. They flex a bit but then so do the ailerons on every airplane. With all the counerbalance area, they tend to be just fine.

cool, i wont worry about it then. sure is plenty of counter balance haha. ill use the extra rods to stiffen the rest of it. I will be flying in our tiny gym again wednesday night but i dont think ill take the mx2 even if its done. since we have a bigger gym scheduled on the 11th i want to make sure its in one piece for that haha.. so i hope theres a calm morning i can test it outside. more to come soon.

While waiting for my parts I cut out another MX2 for some electronics I had laying around and flew it sunday, it didn't come out as good as the FF. It has a thousand pounds of ca but flies great! Today my motor is supposed to come and then I have to order some parts from towers. Soon I will be able to build the actual plane!

Nope, dont know anything yet. Motors and servos should be here this week, ordered the D47's and VPP yesterday, they should be here this week also.

Finally got the paint booth closed in last night and the door hung, all electrical stuff is done. Just gotta finish putting up 3 pieces of coroplast board on the wall inside and the ceiling, hang the lights and build a bench and put the exhaust fan in and it should be ready for Brendan to start painting !

I had a bunch of 4X8 sheets of white coroplast that were given to me from when someone had campaign signs soooo I used those to put on the walls inside and the ceiling using the backside of them since they are white, a lot easier than hanging dry wall ! Really brightened it up a lot. Will get some pics when its done

Make sure you use the Dymonds on a pattern plane and not freestyle. Much too slow for freestyle...

All the MX2s look great guys! Just finished up my first printed one last night. Will post pictures later tonight.
