whats the normal peak charge on this tiny 2cell.. i was always thinking each cell is 4.2v, but its a 7.4 battery..
im reading 4.1 and its still going ...mike

Each cell is 4.2V full charge........ 4.2*2=8.4.

thats what i thought. its just odd when the battery says its a 7.4v. im topping off the batterys now, it went to 4.2 no issue on my common sence charger.. just takes awhile.. looks like i need more battery! i didnt get home today in time to fly the mx2, was to busy getting new avatar photo ha.. might have a lower shot somewhere. this mx2 is going to make me use the rudder for rollers, but i dont do bad with ele and ail only.

nice! from the looks of the coverage the mx2 had a good showing. i cant wait to start thrashing mine.. hey chris, next efest you should build a foamy waco with edf under it,
and make that the only power is has.. my batterys are taking about an hour to charge and .2amps. i guess the thunder power chargers let you go faster..mike

Now, that would be INTERESTING!!!!!!!!!!!! You have given me an IDEA! If your batteries are 250mAh, it will take about 90 minutes to charge @ .25A..... Shouldn't matter which charger you use. I just bought 5 TP 2S 350 Pro Lites from LightFlightRC. They were less expensive than the Vampower's I would have gotten. I get 50 extra mAh, a little lesser on the C rating, and less $$ OOP(out of pocket).

well, think about it,, a depron profile waco, with a small brushless efd... YEAH!!! just need to get fancy foam to kit it out! I thought with tp battery if you have a tp charger you can do better then 1c.. I have the 350mah and the options on the charger i have jumps from .2 to .4 so i have to go with .2 so my thinking is i need more 350 batterys! say.. 5 more haha. the last battery finally finished so ill keep them up for the gym fly this week. since i get home after dark now i will be maidening my mx2 wednesday night. should have video

would be cool if you could make it from an exsisting model, so others can mod it out too. If i can pick up depron at a swap meet i hope to get to soon, I may have to try making a light flat waco with tiny edf haha. any way back to the mx2 talk.. do a thread if you try this

Great pictures Chris! That picture of the tail twisting is surprising, when you feel it it's very stiff. I'd actually venture to say much of that was the elevator itself was bending! Kind of amazing what these things can do and take.

Figured you would get a kick out of that pic.......
I wish there was better lighting..... I don't think it is your elevator twisting the fuse.......... It is the MASSIVE ailerons that make the fuse twist............

You can see the ghosting around the left wing especially. When the photo started the wing was about 1/2" from when the shutter closed.
