If the prop feels tight, then it should be fine. It really needs to be a small o-ring to be tight enough, the Hacker motor comes with two, and you need to use the smaller one. If you did it should work fine.

i just put one of the big orings on it, ill put the small one on it before i fly, I am not taking the video so I dont know when that will be up, but the plan is to get flight and onboard video if the cam will fit between the fuse and the ailiron linkage. this is gonna be fun! ill update tonight!

well the day dident go as i planned it like theres never enough time to do anything anymore, i really gotta quit my job and start riding my quad and flying airplanes full time.

i read the directions today and man imm sorry for all the stupid questions. all the answers were right in there.
thanks for all the help though.

the plane is pretty much done, this is one of the straightest planes i ever built, imm gettin better, imm proud of myself.

ok yes the first flights are done.. I wish i had a chance to fly outside before the first ones tho, You cant ask for an easier hover thats for sure. Got some video but itll be weekend before thats working, I had someone shoot my camera while i flew the 4th battery, by then i wasnt breaking too much haha.. I had to glue both outer ail counter balances back on, and a few other bits that didnt take gravity and carpet well. otherwise once i get used to it itll be insane! I had to try that rolling tailslide.. yep it looks sick but next time ill have more airspace haha. so 4 battery in its still in one piece.. ill get photos up later.

ok got the photos unloaded, I was filming with the video cam alot so I didnt take to many stills. heres a few that were taken of the mx2. i think i know what you guys mean about the mixing without having the wheel pants.. it does need some work for coupling. the wingtips are my only greif, for a plane basher like me the tips took a beating tonight. I will be CAing some carbon to hold the tips together for next time. I forgot to say earlier while reviewing the video taken of my flight I was hit by a 4site on top my head and since i was looking down my hat took the impact, just a small cut to a finger from catching the plane after it hit, goes to show how crazy indoor flying gets.. enjoy, Ill post links to video once they get posted..

Glad you like it!

The MX2 should have no coupling with everything in the right location, and everything on the model. If you have the wheel pants on the model, and are having coupling issues, its likely that your CG, Vertical CG, or Lateral CG is off, which is generally fixed by moving some equipment around (namely the battery).

thanks, wait till the video gets online, I didnt make as nice of a video as the one posted earlier, but this was first 4 flights on a new plane in new airspace,, so i wasnt used to things. the depth perception is odd in the room we flew, wooden V ceiling and grey walls, with reallly bright lights hangen on top, it was like flying into the sun.. just a side note the video i took of dr10044 flying his yak55 will be alot of fun, youll have to wait though! hahaha The owner of the video rig i was filing with is putting new software in his pc so it might be next week before stuff is online.. oh well. this plane is alot of fun I recommend anyone looking for a sweet foamy check it out.

Will the Mamo Vari pitch work with the Hacker A10 9L? I plan on using the A10 on the MX2. Looks like the A10's prop shaft is the wrong size 2mm vs 3mm.

Has anyone put the Mamo unit on an E-flite Park 300. I have that motor on the FF Yak. If it has enough power I may put it on the Yak to get the feel for the vari unit. It's already half glue from crashes.

I heard RJ say that he was running the 20-34S with the VPP. So, in other words, yes, you will need another motor.
