Kinda doubt that the horn is the issue.......... But aileron/wing centering can cause that issue.......

What you are noticing with the travels on the servo is this.......... Differential!!!! The reason they use the RRC horn is to eliminate the differential.

I have a feeling I'm going to have an issue or 2 with my AJ. I have 1 aileron up, and if I trim the servo, the one up, doesn't go flat, it stays up, slightly, and the other is up as well.... If I have issues, I will make new pushrods, tape the surface to the wing, and glue the pushrod right. But will see once I get a new motor for it.......

i got to fly it out side yestaey just before dark and man i cant get enough of this thing. i was doing really small rolling circles and nice round knife edge loops, even tiny KE loops. its so weird doing KE loops with this thing cus you dont have to do any aileron or elevader corrections. all ya gotta do is push on the rudder and it just stays in KE by its self, too easy. i cant wait till the next indoor, ill probly do some KE loops in that tiny room.

do youse guys balence the gws props? they dont fit on my balincers.

That is one thing nice about it... I love doing KE loops and just taking my right hand off the radio and watching it loop.

I never balance them. Can't say I've ever tried though. Most of mine seem to be pretty well balanced anyway...

Chris,

On all my indoor models, I glue the pushrods so that the ailerons are slightly up (1/16") since they tend to sag.

I also didn't run an offset arm on the Osiris, didn't need it.

yup, theres tons of things nice about it. it flys so straight and flat at such a slow speed. inverted and upright are exactly the same. point rolls at a medium speed lock in so hard it looks awesome.
i got the osiris, it flys ok but this thing it a lot better. i had a ton of foamies over the past 2 years and i guess i had bad taste in choosing them cus they all flew like crap so i just assumed that, thats how foamies flew. the mx2 is a real eye opener. i really just bought it for the paint job but now imm gona buy a few more to keep them in stock cus i dont think ill bother flying anything else.
thanks rj, and who ever else helped you design such an amazing little plane

Lou,

I just run them, and only balance if I find a vibration. My balancer requires I drill the hub slightly to get the balancer to fit, and then I lightly sand the backside of the heavy blade, or wipe a small amount of thin CA on the backside of the thin blade. I've seen some of the 8x4DD props bad enough that I threw them away, as they were WAY out of balance.

Regards,

Dave

I try to balance mine, I found they are a bit off stock and if you get them really close there not so much noise at high rpm,.. as for the wing sag haha,, I cant tell now that if glued the tips back on, one side sags dwon one it up.. I guess i need to really mount those wheel pants, mine needs correction in KE.. ill get to fly indoor wednesday again Ill have my glue ready.

Man I really got to throw down with the mx2 tonight,,I am finally getting used to flying it. I added a bit of expo to the ailirons and some of the mixing issues I thought I had were mostly me, tho I still have to add inputs, But may this plane can flip hahah. The coolest thing for me to do is outside with enough altitiude going into a power off dive with full ailiron and the plane slows down to a crawl.. if the spades werent there I would be able to get more throw to really airbrake the dive almost like auto rotation. Then slaping it into a harrier super low.. good fun!! havent had any video yet,, I will try soon..
