Hey RJ, and Jamie, It was nice hanging with you both, sorry I didn't state the main problem, the amps do not seem to be an issue, I have the ESC set as such, Auto Lipo count, Insensitive Current Limit, Brake Disabled, Auto Calib. Thottle, Std Advance timing, Soft Cutoff, and Very Soft start. I have the thorttle curve set to a V with pitch, The issue is when I in vpp mode( pitch mix ) the motor runs for a few then sounds like gears meshing, Then I need to set thrtle stick to middle or switch out of mix mode. If all my ESC are good then it must be a radio issue. Thanks again for your time an info. Look foward to the next TGIF outting, Fingers crossed E-Fest in Jan. Thanks again. Joe Metal

That's reeally bizzarre, I can't say I've ever heard of a problem like that, nor have I heard that noise from a motor. Is your motor running at an excessively high RPM at a low pitch perhaps? I really don't know how to explain or fix that problem. Could it be something wrong with the VPP unit itself coming loose or rubbing?

The weird thing is it only happens in pitch mix. Other then that,, Sweet Flying Plane, Thanks again for the Help. JM

Is your maximum pitch set the same in VPP mode as in normal mode? Could the blades be hitting the pitch arm? I'm just guessing here. Haha.

Yep, my o-ring snapped and the prop fell off after sitting just on my desk for one night (hasn't been flown yet!).

So, off to Lowes to pick up some 3/8" Latex tubing ($1.57/ft). I used a razer blade and sliced up the tubing into 1/16" thickness, and wow what great prop savers. I stretched one open and tried to break it and it simply wouldn't break!

Now I'm ready to maiden this little bird....

My mate is coming home tomorrow with a few FF planes in his luggage, I'm hoping there is a Yak55 and an MX2 with my name among them.

Ditto on the latex tube Axarr, will check it out!
