Yep, first thing I tell folks is to toss the white plug and use an NGK. Works every time!!

I had a motor do that same thing to me. I flipped til my arm hurt, then got a couple of others to help. We changed the plug and bam, purrrrr purrrr!!! LOL funny I never had it to happen until about 6 months ago!!

An even bigger problem with the white plugs is that some of them have under size threads that can cause the threads to strip out of your cylinder. Major bad!!!

When I test these engines I do so just as they would arrive at your door should you buy one so there aren't any mods on mine. Both of the engines I ran had the white plugs in them but I will be replacing them prior to flying them. I would suggest you do the same. You can pick the NGK plugs up at NAPA or any small engine repair place.

Heck Al since you are getting bad weather now just send me the 62cc and I will fly the cooling fins off it for ya! lol we had 80 degrees here today! I love the weather in Jax,FL. I hope you get a couple of good days to do some flying before the winter sets in!! Good luck!!

Reading back through this thread and found this about the brass insert in the 62. I have to tell you that I really like the brass insert in the cylinder. I wish all of my engines had them. If I strip out a thread on this one I can just replace the insert instead of buying a new cylinder or heli-coiling the old one.
