Now I'm thinking I have a days work ahead of me with mods and re-drilling and such but I get down there and pull the DL-50 only to find that the RCGF 62 cc matches up perfectly with everything, and I do mean everything. I even used the same stand-offs! Turns out the stand-offs were the same length as the ones I used for the DL-50. Only thing I had to do was the grind a flat on the bottom two as their footprint was too big to clear the RCGF case. Before putting the 62 in I checked the RCGF 50 against the stand-offs and it was an exact match too! You have to love this!!
Yeah, I ran into that just the other day.... my Knox Hobbies Yak 54
which was previously flown w/ a DA-50 before I got it was allready
drilled, and my RCGF 62 slid right into place.... that was sweet indeed....
sure took a lot of drilling, etc.... out of the mix.... yeah!

No idea on the thrust. The 28cc is not rcgf, it's made by jcengine.

Al did they change the mounting dimensions on the "B"? The old one was 86x67. By the sounds of it they have narrowed it down to 80x67.

To be honest I've never seen the old one but the 62 and 50 "B" line are identical to the DA/DL 50. Even the linkage matched up to the carb. These are listed as 80 X 66. The DL-50 is listed as 80 X 67 and the DA 78 X 66. Despite that the stand-offs matched perfectly.

Cool they must have updated the mount then. What is the length from the back of the ears to the front of the hub? It used to be 4.8". Did they change that too or is it still the same length? The overall length used to be 7.25".

Here's the spec sheet. I get the overall as 7.25" with the stand-offs.

Al it looks like they didn't update the spec sheet with the new mounting pattern. It still shows 86x67. The template shows 80 though.

That wouldn't surprise me. The mounts are 80 X 66 though. Same as the mounting pattern. I'll have to tell Ron to have them update the spec sheet.

Here are the sheets on the 50 cc. Both engines have the same pattern on the hub bolts.

The narrowing of the mount ears on the 62 cc is quite evident when you try to match it up to the stand-offs. The bottom bolt holes are very close to the case.
