Hell Yeah, I would give my left NUT and third born to attend this event. Some of the best times I have ever had flying are out on that bed of dry lake..

Wow, I just looked at renting an RV.... the boss lady said to check it out. Well, much to my surprise, you can rent one hell of a Toyhauler for less than the Hotel we booked. The place here in Temecula has a 23 foot rig with a Queen bed up front, loaded with all the goodies you would ever want, for only $139 per day! WOW. I hate leaving when all the fun starts to go shower and get warm and cozy, then wait for sleepyhead to get her **** together and show up at 10:00 to fly in the morning. This is a badass deal, I'm canceling the hotel and pulling a trailer this time, yeehaaaw! No hovering around the trailer before 9:00 am please.

in all seriosness.... if'n yuh'all live within a 10 hour drive of Rabbit dry lake.... it is worth it....
there is more mayhem and joviality here then any where else I ever flew'd! |

Weather report is for mid 70's, and no expectation of wind or rain in the forecast!
This is getting BIG. Something like 40 pilots are signed up. Anybody in driving distance of Rabbit should try to make it. Things get going Friday afternoon and run thru Sunday. Pig roast is on the menu Saturday Night, care of our favorite Ace Hobby Sponsored Pilot Rocky McCarter... |
