i found a calculator on line that i put all my dimensions in and it gave me the positions for the wings so i will actual be a tad bit forward of the original cg but i should not have a problem then. this project is still on the back burrner i am in the process of finishing my top-flight 1/7 scale p-51 right now once it is done i may pick back up this project. too many projects so little time and the money try died lol

here is the like to the site i got the calculator from i used the airplane design calculatorhttp://www.flyingsites.co.uk/downloads/index.htm

my stang is covered in matalic aluminum monokote on the wings and stab and chrome monokote on the fuse the nose is painted with classkote epoxy paint the retracts are lado tech electronic retracts and my engine is a saito 125 four stroke that i have converted to run on gasoline here is a couple picks of it

not positive but when i mocked it up and gestimated the weight of flight metal i was going to be right at 10 lbs but i went with monokote so i should be a bit lighter

yea i like the checkerboard rudder too but it was a mager PITA to do

yea it kinda sucks some times i will finish it some time though. i am working on finish and fixing planes right now once i finish my mustang it is off to the super stearman to do repairs. then i think find concrete floor in garage and find bench top is next on the list then maybe this project
