Default JR 9303 acting strange

I've got a JR 9303 that is less than a year old. As I was flying today I noticed when I turn the transmitter off and back on, it is no longer on the model I previously flew but rather the last model memory entered in. In other words If i'm flying model number one, I can, complete a flight, turn the TX off then back on and it will be on model number eight, the last memory programmed. Has anyone else had this issue? Thanks

Yea I have 2 as well I have never had a problem, But today the newest one started acting strange. I tried to switch to multiple other models and it always returned to the same Model. It stays on the selected Model untill you switch it off, then Bam model 8. I will contact Horizon tomorrow. Thanks

Had a friend have this happen just the other day...
I work at a Hobby shop and called in to Horizon... they said it is a known glitch and to go ahead and send it in to be fixed

This can happen when the radio is reverse polorized. There is a diode that gets burnt out. Since it is a flash memory it just goes back to the model that is was on prior to the diode going out. Send it in and can be repaired pretty quickly.

Gotta agree with you. Futaba RX's don't like single cylinder vibration.

Danny,
I'm hoping you are able to assist I have the PCM9XII, and the memory seems to be corrupted, there are 6 model number one's ... I have had it repaired and they told me they replace the board, but this afternoon the problem came back ... could it be related to the LIPO battery having a voltage ~12.6V, I have now changed back to the regular Nicad, and will send it for repair on Monday ( to Model Flight - Australia ) .. any ideas ... regards Ivar - from Sydney ( ivars@ozemail.com.au )

My Wife just bought me a 9303 a couple of months ago and mine will erase the model name if I dont change the modulation first. I can program all the settings but if I install the model name before the modulation when I turn it off and back on the only thing that changes is there is no model name. Weird. Anyone else have this problem.

Otherwise I have had great results and no other problems!! We will see.....

I have a JR9303 and have sent it back to Horizon twice for the same repair. I kept losing bind with the plane. They have replaced the RF deck twice. Have'nt got to try it since I got it back but I just hope it's fixed. Cost me about half the season without a radio. Just lucky it always happened on the ground.
