Well I guess it my turn to thank everyone. First I would like to thank all the Flying Giants for there support of the Huckfest and the giants website. It is all of you who made this possible. This site and great events would not have happend without your support.

This opportunity was a great experience for us. We got to meet many new people and make many new friends. We even got to spend time with old friends. It was fantastic to relax at events and just have a great time.

There are lots of people to thank and I can not put them in order of importance except for one or two and I will save them for the end. To those I miss thank you also!!

Thanks goes to all of you.

Thank all the sponsors that were involved. remember these guys work hard also to make sure you enjoy these events. Now its time to support them so next year they can do it all over again!!!!!!!

We misses the first two events and I understand they were great except for a little heat. I don't know who was responsible for those events but we thank you for a great job and hopefully we will get a chance to meet you at some point.

Our first event was in Mass with the infomous SNAP A SAURUS, Guys he is just like you see him on website. We have had a chance to get to really know Elie over the last several years. What a blast! He is a great guy and he enjoys, well I won't go there. Lots of fun, one of the really good guys and one hell of a host. What else can you say about a guy that has over 6,000 post on the giant. he has no life!! Only Kidding!!!. It was our privlage to get you those 3 dates!!! I expect the same security next year!! LOL

TANK: Thank you for all you have done for us and the giants. We are very proud to have you represent us.
Jim C. Thanks for keeping TANK in line
Big Bird: Thanks for your support on the first two events

Thistledown was our second event, Talk about a class acts and an unbelievable facility. Corky and Jeff Heitman make you feel right at home. What hospitality. Unbelievable. This family is the cream of the crop. Those of us that have been to there place know its like the movie "field of dreams" because that is exactly what it is. Corky and Jeff make sure everyone has a great time. Mark this on your calendar for next year. If you don't go send someone in your place so they can come back and tell you what you missed!!!!!!!!!

Atlanta Huckfeat: Another class act and great time: Chris Hinson his wife Melissa and crew from Extreme Flight, Curtis and Blair made sure everyone was having a great time and was well taken care of. I have had the opportunity to spend a little time recently with Chris of Extreme Flight. This guy is the real thing. He loves what he does and what a job he does. excellent products. Besides this guy gave up his night job as a first class gutarist to play with toy planes. If you were there Saturday night you would have seen. Guys he also had one hell of a raffle. Next year Chris can you put in for Sundays weather first!! We had the opportunity to maiden our new 3.2 at this excellent facility

Here is one of the two most important guys in this series. Sleepy!!!!!! There are no words to express our thanks. None of this would have been possible without you. This site is the result of your hard work and dedication. You have traveled to all but one of the Huckfeat and we understand that was due to house arrest by you family!! Smart Move!!! Your on top of industry news ( next year Snap may be on top of you if you wear that outfit again in Mass)

When we decided to take on this adventure we had no idea what we are getting into. You blew us away with your support and dedication to making us and these events what they were. I am honored to have worked with you this year and even more honored to have you as a friend.

#1 my son Kevin: What can I say: here is a young man that is invaluble to me. Kevin has been my sidekick since he could walk. He makes me proud to call him my son. ( ok sometimes I'd like to kick his butt) Many of you know him from both his days at DA and from our family business, We have our moments but I have alway been proud of him and I respect what he has done for me personally, our family and our business. Thank you for everything. it would not be as enjoyable with out you.

Now that the Huckfest are over and holiday season approches we would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for an exceptional year. We wish all of you and your families to enjoy the coming holidays and have a very healthy and happy new year

Thanks for a great experience
Al Young

I would like to say that Chris and Melissa have been GREAT to me! Not only as my employers but more importantly as my Friends...and I couldnt ask for better. They helped me "Adjust" to probably the biggest changes in my life and for that I am grateful. I also have the opportunity to "Jam" with Chris which is always a great time! He does care about this hobby and does so much that many dont realize.
"Tank"....I miss not getting to hang around with him and the other guys in the Northeast as he is another great guy and friend and represents anyone well.....
It was good to see Andrew as usual and sorry I didnt get to say "goodbye" ( I ran to the shop to pick up some parts for someone ) and its always good to see some of the guys you only see a few times a year.
I am glad all that came had a good time as that is what this is all about! Cant wait until next year!

Did I miss the end of something? Are we at the edge of the known world?
Well, let me add thanks to JTEC and FLYING GIANTS, and all the designers, thinkers, tinkerers, and airplane nuts world wide, who have added so much to the dimensions of where this hobby has gone...especially in the last five years! Come on back next year Y'all...let's git some more planes and go some more places.

We had a great time and really enjoyed hanging out with everyone there. Although I could only be there on Friday it was amazing...I can hardly imagine what it was like on the weekend. By the way, the Backyard Burgers catering there all day, even on Friday! We got to fly between rain storms with not a breath of wind. Here's the pics from our camera...better late than never, right?

Made it to my first "Huck Fest" this year in Ohio....What a treat! I brought along my wife and my 9 year old son Jase. I must admit, I was a bit hesitant on bringing Jase along but was pleased as to how respectful the giants are when it comes to children. It was nice to put faces with the names, and to be able to meet one of the nicest people you could ever meet...Corky Heitman. Thanks to everyone that makes these events possible, and a big thank you to the guys at JETEC who spent lots of time talking with me over our steak dinners, on how to make a premo smoke muffler!

....had a blast guys! Keep up the good work Sleepy!!

John, Casie, and Jase
