I do this.

Battery to On/Off switch.

On/Off switch to Reg (if needed)

Reg to Ign cutoff

Ign Cutoff to Ignition.

It is becoming common not to use a conventional switch when using an ignition cutoff. Use the cutoff as a switch, that means the reg goes between the cutoff and the ignition.

The correct order is the Cutoff Receiver before the regulator. In systems without a switch this minimizes battery drain when off. In systems with a switch this provides the most working voltage for the Cutoff Receiver so the transistor can turn hard on.

As I am just installing my Ignition Cutoff and Regulator, I have the same question. So the correct path if I read everything right is:

Battery===> On/Off/Charge Switch===> Ignition Cutoff===> Regulator===> DA Ignition Module===> DA 50R

is this correct or did I miss understand a step.

Thanks,

FH
