2009 JR Indoor Electric Festival
Hey guys, jumping from the huge success of KIEF the seasons first big indoor fly-in, we head on over to Columbus, Ohio next weekend for the 2009 JR Indoor Electric Festival.
November 6th - 8th you will find hundreds of foam addicted pilots throwing down at the 2009 JR indoor Electric Festival. This is the 6th year for this show and the return from last years hiatus. A horrible wind storm decimated the golf dome last year just weeks before the show, at that time it was unknown if the dome would even be rebuilt. Well it was not only rebuilt, it was improved are it is ready to go for this year! The weekend is packed with cool events and tons of great prizes. Flying all weekend will be the latest 3D birds, the sickest scale ships, and even the tiny micro machines! Events consist of everything from full contact combat, a bullseye contest, Parkzone mini races, and even night flying! Also the legendary Spektrum lake returns so float flying will be in full effect! Once again the 2009 6th annual Jr Indoor Electric Festival promises to be an action packed weekend. Flyinggiants.com will be there in full force capturing highlights on HD video, as well as the usual photo floods your so very used to. SO... to all of you who are going, we will see you there! Lets get ready to bash some foam!

Model Aero will be there in full force with AeroCats, Polaris seaplanes and our new Aqua Cat. Looking forward to seeing the new dome and having one of those awesome grinders!!!

Lighting goes further back into the back of the dome, which is nicer. Only complaint I have is the netting. More netting was added than the old dome. They tend to catch a few more airplanes.  But I like it better!
