the 3w should be drop in which is nice to have a motor mounted solid or flush to the firewall with out stands , I would just measure it up all really good when you have the motor and plane in front of you but you should be good to go.
look this picture should be more than enough room

Yep, Cap to Cap, 11.95 should fit fine. Length will be good also.
Thanks again, DR |

Sure wish I could get a ruler pic of the 33% cowl.
This IS the plane I have wanted for quite some time. But I have been looking to stuff a 100cc into the 33% for now. Maybe. Seems like the other $300 keeps postponing it into not happening. ![]() When looking at the stats of each plane they are pretty close. But what we get has nothing to do with fuse width. I would cut the cowl for plug caps if it sid not have to be a lot for the plug wire as well.

I wouldn't do it if you look at the weight the 100L is almost a pound heavier then the 85 plus the 33% you have to look at the wing load the plane will not fly right and the CG will be wacky you will need weight in the tail for sure just my two cents

As I understand it, all new models from the latest shipment have pre-hinged control surfaces (with the only exception being the rudder), a pre-installed fuel tank, and lastly, fuel dot.
The 100cc Extra 260 flies very well. I first flew Dino's Extra at the Huckfest, and it has a similar feel at certain moments to my larger 40% model... Impressive airplane. |
