I will keep this thread updated as to how the DL30 works out. So far, it is a serious powerhouse and it is a great combo. |

I ordered mine from Chief's. Don't have it yet.
I ordered it before I saw the other schemes on other web sites...I would have rather had the Russian thunder scheme. Oh well, I'm sure I will like it anyway. I'm also going to use a DL30. I hope I don't have any egine problems. Keep the updates comming, I am VERY interested. MR G |

I managed to get about 7 or 8 tanks through my DL 30 this weekend. The top end power is fantastic. One of the other guys that was flying with me had a 16.5lb 80" Extra 300 with a DA50 and I would say that they were pretty much neck and neck as far as vertical uplines go....had to tell once they get up so high. Pull out from a hover is fantastic. It is almost difficult to maintain a low level hover becuase the engine has all kinds of torque...just a touch of throttle and it wants to shoot up. The big thing that I did notice was how easy it is starting now...choke on...3 or 4 flips and it pops....choke off.....7 or 8 pops and it usually goes....sometimes it needs a few more. I can see a big improvement in the overall performance as the engine gets more time on it.
